Case is such a sweet boy! He is growing so fast. If we hold him up under his arms, he can put one foot in front of the other and really walk. He said "ill just skip all that other stuff." He has started laughing out loud, talking up a storm, smiling, and expressing his feelings more. On monday Case had his two month shots and thanks to DEDE, mommy didnt have to watch because she was there to assist. The doctor told us some new things to do like try some toys, let him fall asleep on his own, advertise more color and some other stuff, so of course we tried everything in one night. Well he fell asleep on his own in his pack n play, we added toys to his car seat, and he loves to stare at the colors in his room.

On Monday Stephanie and Jason had baby Elise. She is such a sweet baby and I cant wait to meet her. We send our love.. congrats Uncle Jason and Aunt Steph.

The many faces of Caser!

Every time I go to take a picture of him, he shows a new expression. He is like one of those flip books. He is now 2 months old as of yesterday and we go to the doctor on Monday for his 8 week shots :( and his weigh in. Im guessing around 13 pounds..heafty heafty. I started back to work on Monday October 12th and Case has not adjusted well. He used to could sleep from 10 to 6 without ever waking up but when I started back to work he now only sleeps every two hours. Im sure he misses his Mom being with him 24/7 and I miss him just as much. I have a desk full of pictures but its still not the same. Still have not convinced Brandon to let me quit work.
Case is one of the lucky kids though because instead of daycare he gets to spend the day with his Grandmama, Brandon's g-ma.

Case is now talking alot.. im thinking its only a matter of time before "i love you mama" comes from that sweet baby. He loves to lay on his tummy and he can only sweep in his swing. He doesnt want the movement to stop. He now has got used to Johnson and Johnson's night music and I have to constantly hit repeat or he will fuss. Also, if he doesn't have a little sugar on his passy at night, he cries until he gets it. Rotten, I know. But anything to get him to fall asleep at 3am!

"Professional" Photography

this saturday Case is having a few pictures taken professional pictures while he is still considered a newborn. We arent going all out just a few and later we will take more. I was looking online to get a few picture ideas and some ideas I saw I thought wow I can do these myself. Well I cant but some did turn out ok if we have let me take the passy out of his mouth without throwing a fit....

Ok first off let me start by saying I think these stories im hearing about children being taken from their families because bathtime pictures were viewed as porn are too much. You cannot change a diaper without wondering if this is wrong. Well Ive got news for them.. I see my child naked everytime i change him and give him a bath. I wipe his butt and bath him so if i can look at it why cant i take a picture of him enjoying playing in the tub...anyway since I might get turned in im only posting the pics of after Bathtime!! and they are still super adorable...

Voted MOST HANDSOME

today marked the spot of my six weeks and i had to go back to my wonderful doc to make sure everything was healing as it should. Of course I brought little man to show him off and my mommy joined in on all the "fun" too. When the doc came in to visit she adored Case and said and i quote "well, he is sure the best dressed baby ever." DUH!!!! :)


Check up went well, everything looks good. Back to work on Monday and Im sad to leave my little baby but luckily his ga-ga (bran's grandma) is going to keep him. She lives right down the road from us and this will be wonderful and convenient for both Brandon and I.
